N Scale Missouri-Kansas-Texas Rd – # 47049

This 40′ despatch stock car with Bettendorf trucks was built in 1937 at the Denison car shops of the Missouri-Kansas-Texas railroad. It was used to transport cows, sheep and other livestock from stockyards to slaughterhouses. The MKT railroad was founded in 1923 and headquartered in Dallas, Texas and is known for its bright and vibrant paint schemes.
