In June 1998, the ATR 72 was initially delivered to China Xinjiang Airlines, where it operated under the registration B-3027 until 2011. In 2012 and 2013 it came back to Europe and bore the registration YR-ATR for Carpatair from Romania and also Alitalia.

Finally, in June 2013, it was registered as a YU-ALT for JAT Airways and a short time later Air Serbia. After a long and successful flying career, she was retired in 2022 and underwent a recycling process in Sonderborg/Denmark. The resulting parts now form the basis for our exclusive Aviationtag x Air Serbia Edition.
